A year or so ago Bburago created some buzz with their full access 1: 18 Ferrari Monza SP1 in exterior grey. 2021 will bring a rare Signature series edition of the same, however, this example is highlighted in a more traditional colour of Ferrari Red. With upgrades over the entry-level release, this Signature edition SP1 should resonate well with collectors, a possible Diecast Society Model of the Year 2021 candidate too. About the Ferrari Monza SP1… “The beginning of a new Ferrari era! The two cars Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 herald the beginning of a new line of Ferrari models, the so-called “Icona” series. The aim is to build exquisite cars inspired by classic Ferrari models. The Monza SP1 is a real head turner: The single-seater is equipped with the most powerful non-hybrid engine ever installed by the Italian carmaker in a mass-production car – but comes without the comfort of a roof or a windscreen.
