The Super Comp Compressor updates the Dyna Comp® Compressor with an Attack Level control to preserve initial volume without sacrificing sustain.

This pedal can be powered by a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick, Iso-Brick, and Mini Iso-Brick power supplies (not included).

Directions:

  1. Run a cable from your guitar to the Super Comp’s INPUT jack and another cable from the Super Comp’s OUTPUT jack to your amplifier.
  2. Start with all controls at 12 o’clock.
  3. Turn the effect on by depressing the footswitch.
  4. Rotate the OUTPUT knob clockwise to increase overall effect volume or counterclockwise to decrease it.
  5. Rotate the ATTACK LEVEL knob clockwise to reduce volume attenuation of note upon attack or counterclockwise to increase it. For the classic Dyna Comp sound, rotate this control fully counterclockwise.
  6. Rotate the SENSITIVITY knob clockwise to increase amount of compression or counterclockwise to decrease it.
